IMMUNIZATIONS

Pharmacist in the state of North Carolina on October 1, 2013, were authorized to administer CDC recommended vaccines for patients at least 18 years of immunization age? The immunizing pharmacist can administer zoster, pneumococcal, tetanus, Tdap, hepatitis B and meningococcal to patients 18 years and above. Patients at least 14 years of age can also be administered annual influenza vaccine by the pharmacist. You can take charge of your health by receiving vaccines for the preventable disease at Health Park Pharmacy. When you are administered to at your local pharmacy, many insurance companies cover a percentage of the total cost of the vaccine. Medicare Part B and D plans accepted
